“Brosurance” — Can you spot the racism?

I literally just posted a long article.  This one won’t be as big, but something popped up on Twitter and I HAD to say something.  Or rather, I had to ASK something.

Do you see the racism here?  It’s veiled, for sure, but it’s there.

The success of the ACA will depend upon who funds it.  With pre-existing conditions not being a factor in whether or not you can receive coverage, many have asked why young, healthy, and solidly-incomed individuals would sign up for it before they actually need it.  Following me yet?  No?  OK, I’ll go on.

As the years have passed, we’ve heard about diversity lacking here and there when it comes to movies, television, billboard ads, commercials, and more.  It’s to the point where, really, if you flip open a magazine (or whatever), you’re more likely to find a mix of races and cultures in an ad that has more than a lone individual in it.  So what’s going on here?

What do you think is being said in this ad pushing Obamacare in Colorado?  (yes, it’s real)

Who are they trying to motivate to get out there, get a job when they’re out of their fraternity house for good, and in turn…fund the program?

Got it now?  You should.
